ABOUT US
The YPO/WPO Western New England Chapter is a Massachusetts Nonprofit Corporation that is comprised of approximately fifty members in both the Young Presidents' (YPO) and World Presidents' Organization (WPO). Chapter members must first become members of the YPO International Organization. WPO members are those that have been prior members of YPO in good standing and who have transitioned from the Young Presidents' Organization. Members have the option of transitioning from being a Young Presidents' Organization member to a World Presidents' Organization member beginning at approximately age 50 but must make a complete transition by age 55.
The Western New England Chapter covers a large geographic territory including Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts with the majority of Massachusetts members being from the Western portion of the state. Our Chapter has recently changed it's name from the Berkshire Chapter to the Western New England Chapter to better depict itself geographically.
Some of the businesses our members head up are in the auto industry, investment management, real estate investors, venture capitalists, manufacturers/service/sales companies of paper and plastic products, awards, sporting goods, cutlery, transportation, retail store chains, insurance, power systems, software development, health & beauty aids, printing, machinery equipment, entertainment, recycling, electrical contracting, architectural engineering, petroleum, etc.
